green light
after lots (and i mean lots) of research, i'm pleased to announce that i will be going ahead with the business. it's going to be hectic getting everything up and ready in time for christmas so i'm not sure how much time i'll have for blogging but i will try to keep you guys updated. thank you so much to everyone who left their comments and advice. hugs to you all!

Then by all means go go go ! I just found your blog and your soaps are so fab. so mad in their dark sexy ways. I soap part time and then fight off the big bad government on our farm the rest of the time. I'll be back for sure
It's clear that you're 'going in' with your eyes open. Best of luck - with your excellent eye for design I look forward to seeing you grow. After looking through your bars and considering your calling to 'styling' I wondered about whether you could have a consulting arm to your business where you offered stylistic services to soapers - custom design, I guess.

@ Washpool, you are too sweet! I doubt anyone would hire a soap stylist, and that's a good thing anyway. Designing the look of a soap is one of the best parts and it makes you feel very accomplished when you get the result you want. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a soaper and not have that experience each time.
